Then, she enrolled at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, earning a doctorate in philosophy and her Doctor of Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Smith completed a neurology residency at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown and a neuromuscular medicine fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Dr. Smith holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the West Virginia State Medical Association.
