Dr. Choi received his doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) at the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed his internship and psychiatry residency at the National Capital Consortium (Walter Reed Army Medical Center). He served as an active duty Army psychiatrist and has experience with active duty military and veterans.
As a psychiatrist, Dr. Choi evaluates and treats a wide array of mental illnesses from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD and more. Dr. Choi provides compassionate, patient centered, and evidence based treatments. Dr. Choi’s expertise is psychopharmacology. Dr. Choi also offers transmagnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS is a treatment program sought by those who have not had an effective response to medications.
